Peace and space for play
At Hoeve Boeve Childcare in Bocholtz, a safe, familiar environment is key. Children should feel free to explore, play and grow. But in crowded rooms with lots of noise, that natural play can quickly be drowned out by reverberation and noise. In this project, we optimized the acoustics using Vela ceiling panels from Impact Acoustic, a durable, aesthetic solution that provides peace and balance.
The chosen panels contribute to more pleasant acoustics, supporting both the pedagogical policy and the daily comfort of children and supervisors.
Project objectives
Acoustic comfort for children and staff
Good acoustics reduce reverberation and make voices sound clear. This helps children concentrate better and prevents overstimulation. Tutors also experience less vocal fatigue and stress during work.
Durable and safe choice of materials
Vela ceiling tiles are made of recycled PET felt, a lightweight and environmentally friendly material. It is fireproof, low-maintenance and completely safe for use in children's environments.
Visual tranquility and child-friendly design
With their soft lines and clean design, the panels add visual tranquility to the interior. They fit seamlessly with the character of a contemporary child care center, modern, friendly and uncluttered.

A calm space full of room to play
A quiet room reduces stimuli, allowing children to concentrate and come to play better. Vela ceiling tiles provide a calm sound level that is immediately felt in the atmosphere.

Children interacting with each other
Good acoustics promote communication, support language development and encourage cooperation. In an acoustically balanced space, children can truly flourish.
